Billing and insurance at IHCH Dental Care

The IHCH Registration fees do not apply to the Dental Clinic.

 Professional fees

In The Netherlands, dental fees are regulated by the Dutch Healthcare Authority - Nederlandse Zorgautoriteit NZa  and the Dutch Ministry of Health.

 Payment terms

For all dental services, payment is due at time of service.

Adults: Same day payment applies to all adult patients, regardless of insurance coverage.

When payment is received, a receipt is issued to the patient which can be forwarded by the patient to their insurance company for reimbursement.

Children – under 18 years of age

For children without Dutch dental insurance, same day payment applies.

For children with proof of Dutch dental insurance, an invoice will be submitted to their insurance company by the dental clinic.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)

 

Payment methods

We currently accept the following methods of payment at IHCH Dental Care:

  • Dutch bank passes (PIN)
  • Credit card (MasterCard; Visa; American Express)

 

No-show / Cancellation fees 

We adhere to a strict 24-hour No-show / cancellation policy.  Please be aware that unless we receive at least 24hrs notice via email to ihchdental@ezorg.nl to cancel your appointment with one of our dental team, you will receive an invoice and be charged a No-show / cancellation fee.   This fee is not usually reimbursed by your insurance company.

Our No-Show / Cancellation fees, payable directly to IHCH Dental Care, are as follows:

First missed appointment:

Under one hour duration  45,- euros

One hour or more duration   65,- euros

Second or subsequent missed appointment:  75,- euros
