If you have a question for our pharmacists, please either call the pharmacy directly Monday to Friday, between 08h00 and 18h00 on +31 (0)70 306 5122 or send an e-mail.

We are able to provide you with medical information in  English and Dutch (Romanian translation is also available upon request).

We can help you import medications from any country and can supply Dutch products as well. You may order prescriptions and pick them up the next day; for this service, we recommend that you order before 17h00.

Because we have a close working relationship between our pharmacists and the doctors working in the IHCH, we are able to provide you efficient and comprehensive healthcare.


Availability of FSME and Varicella vaccines

Please contact our GPs for further information and a vaccination appointment.

Normally one dose guarantees a 95% life-long protection against a varicella infection. Tickborne encephalitis is not endemic in The Netherlands. Depending on your holiday destinations it might be advisable to have the FSME vaccine. For further advice please contact our travel clinic.


Homeopathic/Orthomolecular Information

We stock a variety of Homeopathic and Orthomolecular products including Solgar. In addition, we also provide expert advice on the safe and effective usage of such products. 


Travel vaccinations and products

We work closely with our on-site travel clinic and therefore have most travel vaccines in stock, including yellow fever. We also stock anti-malarial drugs and other travel items such as mosquito nets/repellents, first aid kits and hygiene items. It is advisable to allow plenty of time for vaccination requests, as vaccine immunity is not achieved immediately for some vaccines. Frequently asked questions

Yes, you can.  After your consultation with one of our GP's he or she can prescribe the same medication you started taking abroad.  If your medication is not available in The Netherlands we will almost always be able to supply you with the equivalent medication. In all other instances, we will make an effort to import your original medication, while obeying possible legal restrictions and regulations.

For prescriptions for controlled substance (opiates, sleeping pills, tranquillizers etc) you will always be invited for a consultation with one of our GP's first .

Yes, IHCH pharmacy accepts prescriptions from non-Dutch prescribing doctors.

We will check if the prescribing doctor is licensed, and fill the prescription with a Dutch available equivalent. If the prescribed medication is not available in The Netherlands, we will try and import it for you. Be aware of the fact that this can take up to a week. If you are planning to come to the Netherlands it is advised to bring along a supply of at least 2 weeks of your prescribed medication.

We can not accept foreign prescriptions for controlled substances like opiates, benzodiazepines etc. If you need this kind of medication re-filled we will ask you to book an appointment with one of our GP's first.
