Dr Martin Bourne, M.D.
Dr Martin Bourne is originally from the south-west of England. He graduated from Barts and the London Medical School in 2003, having also completed an intercalated bachelor of science in physiology at Kings College, and a Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
He completed his general practitioner training (GP) at Homerton Hospital in Hackney, London in 2008. He is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and a member of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health (FSRH).
He worked the next 9 years as a family doctor in Hackney, London. During his time as a family GP in London he gained a broad range of clinical experience working in a very diverse and multicultural population. He moved to the Netherlands in 2017 to be closer to his Dutch wife and daughter. Since 2017 Dr Martin Bourne has been working at the International Health Centre in The Hague.
Martin enjoys working as a family doctor. He keeps up to date with the newest research and updates to family medicine by courses and research. He sees general practice as his speciality, seeing people over the long and the short term, treating and guiding individuals through their health care, with the aim to give the best health care possible.
