Dr Corrie van der Harst, Dermatologist
Dr Corrie van der Harst is from Montfoort in The Netherlands. She graduated from the University Medical School in Utrecht and shortly after undertook dermatology training at the University Hospital of Utrecht and thereafter the University Hospital in Leiden.
Her professional medical career as a dermatologist has included work at the Eudokia Hospital in Rotterdam; Rijnoord Hospital in Alphen aan den Rijn; Elisabeth Hospital in Leiderdorp and Rijnland Ziekenhuis as the head of the dermatology department. Whilst at Alphen aan den Rijn, she also developed a multidisciplinary policlinic for the treatment and prevention of diabetic foot problems. Dr van der Harst is also specialised in the treatment of contact allergies and dermato-oncology.
Since 2012, Dr van der Harst has been practising at the IHCH on a part-time basis. She is a member of de Beroepsorganisatie voor Diabeteszorgverleners (EADV) - the Association for Diabetes Caregivers; Nederlandse Vereniging voor Dermatologie en Venereologie (NVDV) - Dutch Society of Dermatology and Venereology and the Integraal Kankercentrum West Werkgroep Maligne Huidtumoren - Integral Cancer Centre West Working Group Malignant Skin Tumors.
