Dr K.H.A. (Lien) van Eeghem

Lien van Eeghem was born in Belgium, where she completed medical studies and most of her training as a surgeon. Lien has completed the last 2 years of training in the Leiden region.

From 2001 to 2017, Lien was a surgeon at the Port Hospital in Rotterdam, initially focusing on abdominal wall surgery, later breast surgery. Since 2017, she worked at the IJsselland Hospital in Capelle aan de IJssel, where she mainly dealt with breast surgery, melanomas, abdominal wall surgery and surgery in children. 

Lien is married, lives in Moerkapelle and is a mother of 3 boys (18, 17 and 15 years).

In her spare time, she enjoys to work out. Furthermore, she loves photography and beautiful trips.

Lien has joined the team at IHCH since April 2021.
